350th anniversary of Rhode Island's "lively experiment" in religious freedom
Whether you’re already a converted vapor, or you’re just finding out about it, the chances are there are certain things you thought you knew about vaping, and some half-truths or mistruths that are probably product of the media, or popular folk law. But before you continue or embark upon your vape journey. Here are three things you should know:
1. It’s Not About E-cigarettes
Even people who vape regularly tend to interchange the word e-cigarette with going out for a vape. But they’re actually two (or three) completely different products. E-cigarettes (or analog cigarettes) are the ones that look like a carbon copy of a real cigarette, are made by tobacco companies like Imperial Tobacco and RJ Reynolds, contain nicotine, have limited flavors and produce limited amounts of vapor. They’re essentially a transition product for smokers trying to quit, or a healthier replacement for a real cigarette.
Here’s the deal though, these e-cigarettes aren’t even found in a vape store, because vaping isn’t about e-cigarettes. Vaping is about APVs (advanced personal vaporizers – or “vape pens” and mods (which produce tons of vapor and offer a myriad of flavors in the form of ejuice).
